It is mandatory that all volunteers participate in the VIRTUS Program.
All parents are welcomed and encouraged to become more actively involved in this special phase of their children's lives.
The organization of HSA is designed to accommodate all parents who are interested in volunteering!
There are many ways for you to get involved requiring varying degrees of commitment.
So contact us and let us know how you would like to be involved.
Become a part of the Core Committee or the Sub-committees:
The Core Committee:
The core committee meets once a month on the first Wednesday of every month.
In addition to attending the monthly meetings, core committee members commit to work on all SJA events, and volunteer during the day in school as door monitors and substitutes.
The Sub-Committees:
These committees are set up for individual school activities and are designed to fit around parents’ busy schedules.Volunteers let the Core Committee know when they have availability to volunteer.
For example, some parents may be able to help with weekend activities like set-up for the Mother-Daughter tea-party, while others may be able to help with morning events like Penance Breakfast.
The Committee Liaison, Susanne May, is the link between HSA and the school Principal, Mr. John Fruner.
Parent volunteers are a crucial and necessary part of many of the school’s special activities.
So please let us know how you can become a part of the HSA!
